Journal article version of the lecture

Edward Davis was born in Cardiff, Wales, on the 11th of August 1880. He qualified in both medicine and dentistry from University College, Cardiff, in 1903. During his career he was regarded as an incredibly personable man who was a joy to work with and, as such, should come as no surprise that he was President of both the Laryngological and Otological Sections of the Royal Society of Medicine.
