Laryngo-Rhinology and General Medicine

Professor Markuss Hajek presented his lecture on the 1st of November 1928 at the Royal Society of Medicine. Hajek dedicated his talk to emphasising the importance of looking at a medical condition in the context of all branches of medicine, so focused on the necessity for other disciplines like radiography, serology and histology in the diagnosis of rhinological and laryngological conditions.

Markuss Hajek was born on the 25th of November 1861 in Versesz, Hungary. He had a very tough upbringing without much money but with his resilience and perseverance, he went on to become one of the most renowned rhinolaryngologists of the time and published a vast number of papers.
